Learning path
Amy, idea finder and media pipelinesUnder Settings → Amy Memory you maintain curated rules and individual memories, either for the whole workspace or just for you. In the chat, “Remember …” is enough.
This page was translated from the German original. The labels in your app are authoritative.

What is this about?
In Amy Memory you save rules and facts that Amy should permanently take into account, such as spellings, tone or fixed contact persons. This way you don’t have to explain them again in every chat.
There are two types of entries:
- Curated rules: a Markdown text field that you maintain yourself. The app compares it to an AGENTS.md for your team.
- Learned memories: individual facts that Amy remembers during a conversation or that you add yourself.
Both exist on two levels: Workspace (Team) applies to all members of the workspace, Personal only to you.

Step by step
- Open Amy Memory. Go to Settings → Amy Memory.
- Choose a level. Under Curated rules („Kuratierte Regeln“), choose the Workspace (Team) or Personal („Persönlich“) tab.
- Enter rules. Write short, clear rules in the text field and click Save. You have up to 6,000 characters per level.
- Add an individual memory. Under Learned memories („Gelernte Erinnerungen“), enter a fact (up to 1,000 characters). With the Team switch it applies to the whole workspace, otherwise only to you. Click Remember („Merken“).
- Have Amy remember in the chat. Write to Amy, for example, “Remember that we always write out product names in full”. Amy creates the entry, personal by default. For team rules, say explicitly that it applies to the team.
- Maintain entries. If you pin an entry (Pin („Anheften“)), it is given priority. With Delete you remove an entry. In the chat you can also do this with “Forget …”; Amy then asks first.
What takes priority
- Personal preferences take priority over team rules.
- An explicit instruction in the current chat takes priority over both.
Limits
- Length: Curated rules up to 6,000 characters per level, individual memories up to 1,000 characters.
- What reaches Amy: The entire memory is shortened to around 2,500 characters for each request. Pinned entries and the rule texts are at the top; the rest is cut off from the bottom.
- Post assistant and Editorial Planning: There, Amy uses a compact version, namely only your personal rules and pinned memories.
- Team level: Whether you can edit the team rules depends on your role in the workspace. You can always edit your personal level.
- Reset: Reset memory („Gedächtnis zurücksetzen“) deletes all memories of the selected level and, if you wish, the curated rules too. This cannot be undone.
Tips
- Short bullet points work more reliably than long running text. Because of the shortening to around 2,500 characters, this pays off twice.
- Pin the most important memories so that they also apply in the post assistant.
- If Amy ignores a rule, phrase it shorter and more clearly.
Frequently asked questions
Do others see my personal memory?
No. Personal rules and memories only take effect in your chats. Team entries apply to all members of the workspace.
Does Amy remember everything from the chat?
No. Amy only saves permanent rules or preferences, for example when you say “always”, “never” or “remember”. Short-term conversation context does not end up in the memory.
