A content structure is the blueprint of a post type with sections, word count, rules, markup and sample posts. You create it under Settings → Content structures and assign it to a channel in the channel canvas.
This page was translated from the German original. The labels in your app are authoritative.

What is this about?
A content structure describes how a post type is built: which sections come in which order, how long the text should be, which rules apply and which formatting is allowed. ALLMEDIA.AI passes these requirements to the AI with every generation for the channel. This produces posts that are always structured the same way, no matter who in the team creates them.
Each channel uses exactly one content structure. However, you can assign the same structure to several channels.
Step by step
- Open the area. Go to Settings → Content structures. You see all of the workspace’s own structures, with a search.
- Create a new structure. Click New Content Type and choose Choose from templates or Create yourself.
- Start with a template. Under Choose from templates you find curated templates in the categories social media, blog, newsletter, audio/video and other, for example “LinkedIn Personal Post”, “GEO blog article” („GEO-Blog-Artikel“), “Magazine article” („Magazin-Artikel“) or “Newsletter”. The app opens a copy of the template in the editor. As soon as you save it, it is your own structure.
- Or create it yourself. Under Create yourself you describe the format freely (Describe freely) or answer short questions on format, structure, and length and tone (Step by step). Click Generate structure. The AI creates a draft that you take over with Looks good — save or edit further via Tweak details.
- Define details. In the editor, under Text length („Textlänge“), you set the Minimum Length (Words) and Maximum Length (Words). Under Content Structure you create the sections, either in the Editor via Add section or as Text, where
#marks a section and##a subsection. Under Rules for every post, fill in the fields Best Practices, Avoid, SEO guidance, GEO/AEO guidance and Markup, as well as sample posts. - Link to the channel. Open the channel in the channel canvas and click Select or Change in the Content Structure („Inhaltsstruktur“) tile.

Options at a glance
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Minimum and maximum length (words) | Target length of the post. On short-form channels, ALLMEDIA automatically shortens the target to the platform’s character limit. |
| Content structure (sections) | Order of the parts. The text under a section is the instruction to the AI. |
| Best practices, avoid | Rules that apply to every generation, one rule per line. |
| SEO guidance, GEO/AEO guidance | Requirements for search engines and AI answer engines. |
| Markup | Permitted formatting: plain text, LinkedIn text, Markdown, HTML (web) or email HTML. |
| Sample posts | 2 to 4 examples that show style and quality. |
For a saved structure, the Preview in the editor shows under “What the AI receives” how your details end up in the brief to the AI.
Tips
- Phrase sections as a clear instruction (“State the target audience’s problem in two sentences”) rather than just a heading. This improves the result significantly.
- Via a structure’s menu you can Duplicate it and use it as a starting point for a variant.
- “Remove” in the channel canvas only removes the link. The structure remains in the workspace. Delete in the list, on the other hand, removes it.
Frequently asked questions
Do I choose the structure again for every post?
No. The structure is tied to the channel. Every post that ALLMEDIA.AI creates for this channel follows it. If you want a different structure, create another channel or assign a different structure.
What is the difference between GEO blog article and magazine article?
“GEO blog article” is designed for texts that AI answer engines can cite well, for example with definition sentences and question-and-answer blocks. “Magazine article” delivers an editorial print structure with kicker, lead, subheadings, captions and info box.
