    Multiple brand voices per workspace

In one workspace you can create as many brand voices as you like and assign them per channel. For separate brands, use separate workspaces.

    Afterwards you have:

Each channel has exactly one brand voice; a workspace can have many. If you want to sound different, for example as the company and as the management, create two channels, each with its own brand voice. For completely separate brands or clients, use separate workspaces.

    What is this about?

Many teams need more than one tone: factual in the specialist blog, personal on Instagram, approachable in the management’s profile. In ALLMEDIA.AI, the following applies:

    • A workspace can have as many brand voices as you like. You find them all under Settings → Brand voices.
    • A channel has exactly one brand voice. So the channel a post is created for decides which voice the post gets.

This results in two approaches: several voices in one workspace, or separate workspaces for separate brands.

When one workspace is enough and when you need a second one

    Situation Recommendation
Same brand, but different tone per platform or sender One workspace, several brand voices, one per channel
Same platform, two senders, for example company page and management on LinkedIn One workspace, two channels, each with its own brand voice
Independent brands, subsidiaries or agency clients with their own knowledge, team and channel connections A separate workspace for each

Workspaces are completely separate: brand voices, knowledge stores, channels, posts and members are only visible in the respective workspace.

    Step by step

    1. Create another brand voice. Open Settings → Brand voices and click New Brand Voice. Give it a unique name, for example “Management personal”. Instructions: Understand brand voice.
    2. Create a channel for the second sender. If you need a second tone for the same platform, create another channel under Content → Channels via New Channel. See Create a channel.
    3. Assign the brand voice to the channel. Open the channel and select the matching voice in the Brand Voice („Markenstimme“) building block in the channel canvas.
    4. Choose the right channel when creating content. On the Create page, you select the channels via Select channels. Each post automatically gets the voice of its channel.
    5. Create a workspace for a separate brand. Open the workspace selector at the top of the sidebar and click Create New Workspace. Enter a Workspace name and set up brand voice, knowledge stores and channels independently there. See Workspaces.

A workspace can have several brand voices. Each is assigned to one or more channels.

    Limits and notes

    • Exactly one brand voice is active per channel. However, one brand voice can be assigned to several channels. If you change it, this affects all these channels.
    • When creating content on the Create page, you don’t choose a brand voice directly, but channels.
    • Brand voices cannot be moved between workspaces. If you need a voice in a second workspace, create it there again, fastest via an AI draft.
    • Each channel connection counts towards your plan’s quota. See Channel quotas for workspaces.

    Tips

    • Name brand voices after sender or purpose, for example “Company factual” and “Recruiting casual”. This lets you pick the right one faster in the channel canvas.
    • Start workspace names with the brand; this makes switching easier.
    • If you want to slightly vary a voice, duplicate it instead of starting from scratch. See Duplicate a brand voice and test variants.
