    Revising content and creating variants

Draft not quite right yet? Edit the text directly, rewrite it with Amy in the post, regenerate it or add more variants to the story.

    Afterwards you have:

In the post you edit the text directly, have it rewritten in the Amy tab or click “Regenerate”. You create more variants via “Add post” on the story. There is no version history.

    What is this about?

The first draft is rarely the last. ALLMEDIA.AI gives you four ways to a better version:

    • Edit yourself: Change the text directly in the post.
    • Revise with Amy: In the post’s Amy tab, request changes in your own words, for example shorter, more casual or with a call to action.
    • Regenerate: Have the post completely rewritten with the same configuration.
    • Variants: Create more posts for the same story via Add post, also for the same channel.

Important: there is no version history. Regenerate overwrites the previous text.

    Step by step

    1. Open the post. Under Content → All Stories & Posts, open the story and click the post. The text is on the left, and on the right are the Amy, Analytics and Details tabs.
    2. Edit directly. Change the text in the editor. For more space, click the full-screen icon.
    3. Rewrite with Amy. Switch to the Amy tab and describe the change you want, for example “Shorten this post to a maximum of 150 words” or “Switch the tone to something more casual and personal”. Amy changes the post text. With Undo you reverse the change immediately. If Amy wants to shorten the text substantially, the app asks first.
    4. Regenerate. Click Regenerate above the text. Amy rewrites the post with the channel’s brand voice, content structure and brief. This costs credits again and replaces the previous text.
    5. Change the brief. If the briefing itself doesn’t fit, open the “Content basis” on the story. There you see your brief, how Amy understood it, and the text that was used for writing. With Edit you change the brief. Then you choose Regenerate posts or Save only.
    6. Add a variant. Click Add post on the story. The text field is pre-filled with the original topic. If you leave it unchanged, Amy creates further variations on the original topic for the selected channels. If you add to the text, the addition feeds into the brief.

In the Amy tab you request changes to the post in your own words.

What Amy can do in the post

When you open the Amy tab, Amy shows a list “I can: …”. Among other things, the post assistant helps you

    • improve or rephrase the text,
    • suggest hashtags and emojis,
    • adjust the tone,
    • create translations,
    • adapt the post for another channel or structure it into paragraphs and lists,
    • create a matching image or search for one in the media library.

You write your request in your own words in the input field at the bottom of the Amy tab and send it.

    Limits

    • No version history: after Regenerate, the old text is gone. Copy it beforehand with Copy if you want to keep it.
    • Published posts are usually locked. Regenerate is then not available.
    • With the Viewer role, the Amy tab is disabled.
    • There is no variant comparison with automatic A/B evaluation. You see the figures of each post individually in the post statistics.

    Frequently asked questions

Does rewriting change the brand voice?

No. Changes in the post only apply to this post. You edit the brand voice under Settings → Content & channels → Brand voices.

What is the difference between “Regenerate” and “Add post”?

Regenerate replaces the text of the open post. Add post creates additional posts in the same story. The existing post is kept.
